If you plan to update your winter season fashion, you’ve probably added a few new pieces to your closet. Here’s a few of the must have winter trends.
Tcynth is looking totally fierce this winter season in her camel biker coat with on point silver zip asymmetric fastening to the from and exposed biker style zip up pockets. Work this jacket over skinny white denim and ankle boots to ensure you’re killing it this winter. Tcynth topped this outfit off with her Tory Burch “Jessica” satchel
Mel is rocking her Topshop “Kiora” Jacket. To bundle up more, she wore a fluffy cowl neck sweater from Nordstrom. Paired with Topshop Moto Leigh Black skinny jeans and taupe booties to complete her winter look.
A couple weeks ago, let’s just say I went on a shopping spree at the Nike Employee Store, and lets not talk about how much I spent either. Regardless, it was a successful shopping day for Tcynth! I will not have to buy workout clothes for awhile now…
Of course, I had to squeeze in a couple hikes while I was in Oregon. I’m an avid hiker and always researching places to go to whenever I travel somewhere. Here are the pictures from my amazing hike and what I wore:
I’ve been dying for a Nike tech cape ever since they came out with them. The first thing I ran to grab was this tech hoodie. Not only is it the most comfortable hoodie I own, it’s also extremely stylish and adds to your workout wardrobe!
At the crack of dawn, I stood right in front of Wizard Island at Crater Lake, anticipating for that moment to catch the sunrise. I made it just in time!
My avid hiking buddies and I took off from Seattle area around 11:00pm and after hours of snoozing in and out in the car ride, we have finally arrived at 6am. The air was extremely chilly, roads were icy, and snow was all around; here we were, not prepared for this unexpected cold weather brought upon us on a summer day. But we were ready to venture around with our cameras in hand. The view was well worth freezing our asses for! No place on earth combines pure blue waters and sheer surrounding cliffs thousands of feet high. This was a place of immeasurable beauty, no picture could capture.
I spent the entire weekend crusing along the coast to all the spots I’ve been wanting to see. You can say I’m the more adventurous one 🙂 My next stop was to Toketee Falls. One of the most famous falls in Oregon, which you’ve probably seen through many social media accounts. Everyone takes amazing pictures at the falls, and I wish I went off trail and climbed down to that spot. If you go there be safe guys!
Some of the other amazing stopping points we made included Thors Well, and Devils Punchbowl. Be sure to check them out our instantaneous tcynthandmel, and tcynth

This is how we play dress-up in the city!
Playing tourists in our city, we hit up the waterfront dressed in our best. I’m a sucker for all things lace and crochet, which only makes sense for the girly-girl that I am:) Whether you’re going for day or night look, lace will brings out the more feminine and glamour side of us all. My outfit consisted of crochet crop top and high waisted form fitting skirt, giving off the illusion of a dress. On the opposite side of my color schematic, TCynth wore her ivory laced up co-ordinate.
You say fancy, we say lace!
Spending most of my childhood summers in California, I never truly appreciated what I’ve grown up with until recently. My parents sent me off every summer for months at a time to stay with my cousins who grew up in the Bay Area, so this was like a second home for me. It’s such a beautiful city with so much to do and eat! When i was younger, I never took the time to appreciate all of its true beauty. I decided to take a mini weekend vacation with one of my close friends from high school who had never been to the Bay Area before and show her all the great places the city has to offer. Here are the top places to eat and venture to:
Mr. Holmes Bakery: One of the best bakeries in town, where only early birds can get a special treat at this Tenderloin bakery. You have to get here early to beat the lines and get their famous cruffins but its well worth the wait if you have to. They have their famous “I Got Baked in San Francisco”
Kirby Cove: this mini hike to the beach with the view of the Golden Gate Bridge is well worth it. Plus, there’s an awesome swing to greet you at the end of it.
Sutro Baths: A lovely beach off the coastline of San Francisco. There’s also many mini trails to walk along here with a great view of the Golden Gate bridge.
The View: The cutest cocktail lounge and bar with an amazing view of the city. This bar is located at the top of the Marriott Hotel. It’s pricey menu is well worth it for the amazing view of the city through the massive arched windows.
Smitten Ice Cream Bar: The best liquid nitrogen ice cream in town. I recommend trying the sweet corn with berries. It sounds weird but it was amazing.
Kickin’ it in our converse, we took over the Jose Rizai Bridge in Seattle. A hidden spot just slightly passed downtown with an awesome view of the city. The cool end of this summer weather called for cropped denim, whilst running around the city in our Chuck Taylor’s (the classic). This is such a classic and a must have item to go with just about anything, and its incredibly comfy!
Girls can wear these shoes with just about anything, from yoga pants and a plain oversized tees, to jeans and a baseball jersey, I’ve seen it all. This is how we chose to rock our shoes today
We love a casual yet comfy outfit that goes well with anything!
Mel went for the more girly hot pink converse, while TCynth stuck with the classic all white pair of converse, since Tcynth is not as “girly girl” as Mel 🙂

Kitchen Story is a cozy eatery serving Californian cuisine with Asian influences. I knew this was the first place I wanted to try on my mini vacation to San Francisco, since this was one of the most popular places with the most recommendations. We recommend making a reservation, like we did through Open Table, since brunch time calls for long waits.
The best part about this place is their “must-order” candied bacon, by far the best bacon I’ve ever had! Every entree is served with a pinterest-y feel, tasty and presentable. Our BIGGEST MISTAKE, ordering bottomless mimosas…. too buzzed to function, and a little too pricey for our liking. But, I highly recommend the Sausage Eggs Benedict.
What I wore today: Top Shop ripped denim with a basic striped Brandy Melville tank, topped off with my favorite hat for this sunny, windy bay area weather.
